not sure mate, the Chinese tracer units i got screw straight on to an agm mp40

didnt know you had to mod them :shock:

Just tried my marui tracer on my mp40 and yep doesnt work :cry:

Now to decide if i'm buying an adapter or not!

i am thinking of investing in one after the 9th dec game as i can convince mums taxis that kidderminster is no problem to get to

anyway here's one at the can nook shop

what do you think? the white junk can be taped over or painted. i would ranter buy from a local shop i can take it back on warranty to replace rather than the ebay way of it

got mine today :D but stupidly forgot to check the colour of the ammo and mine's green :cry: ,anybody know where to get good quality 0.25 red tracer ammo? or does it matter at all, im just thinking green is a bit si-fi for ww2 but then i don't know what colour real tracer ammo comes in?

Iirc it comes in red and green phospher cant rember if one of them is insendry and other is marker though

I can bring red .25 if you want them, cost at top of thread

but dont worry green is ok (russains used it) also germans used Blue tracer as well in aircraft ammo, in `45 ammo could come from anywhere :good:

i may have time to make up a few adapters to fit tracers to mp40's if that's of interest to anybody ,say £5 each,let me know if interested.

started making a few adapters ,got three made all but for the m14x1 positive thread inside as im waiting on a tap,should be here by tomorrow and i can finish them off,please let me know if you want one so i can make them up.

now that's cool =) now you just need to make one with interchangeable sized sleeves and a grub screw so you can clamp them onto custome boltys (no idea what shape peoples the end of rifles are ;)
